Bintulu Trip

Introduction
And finally something realistic to blog about, something that is not entirely made-up, self thought or purely internet based. It's about a trip I went with PJPO to Bintulu.

Lets talk about PJPO and me.
I join the orchestra when I was around ten, which was called PJYCO at the time. I was a over-protected kid. I don't know how to cope with people, as well as the basic manners and "common sense" which most kid inherits from their parents. I was spoiled. Too spoiled in fact to understand why people disliked me. I have been ever trying to grow up and try to get into their social group, but I always ended up being annoying. I have been ever thinking why I couldn't be accept. Slowly I learn to blame my peers, my school, and eventually, my parents. I left the orchestra because I felt like I am not belonged.

Mr. Chan, the former Cello Leader, now Conductor(for some reason he was disliked by many of the members, I couldn't tell why, except for him being a funny and a little immature person) invited me to return to the orchestra and offers me an opportunity to earn some cash. It worked and I went back to the orchestra. I played in two concerts since then before the one in Bintulu.

Lets talk about the trip
Bintulu, Sarawak. I never heard about the place before. I didn't expect anything, but I was told that it is quite ulu, undeveloped in Malay. Doesn't bother me anyway.

March 18 - Thursday
It was a no-class day for me. I had my transport to LCCT planned; it is with my friend Nicholas where his father would fetch us to the airport early Friday. I decided to wait for Yuin Ching to get off work and have our last dinner together before I depart from the peninsular. After dinner, I drove to Klang and meet my friend there. We played some duet together and slept at exactly at 0000 hrs.

March 19 - Wednesday
LCCT Airport
After 3 hours of sleeping I was awaken by the first few seconds of Zetsubou Billy. I quickly canceled the alarm and fold myself into the warm blanket and sleep, just to be called up minutes later. I took a quick shower and put on the Green PJPO shirt, and we travel to the airport. I was half asleep for the almost an hour journey in the car.

It took us not more than 5 minutes to locate that crowd of people wearing the same Green PJPO shirt. I bought a regular ~220ml of mineral water from McDs, for 3 bucks. We checked in our luggage after queuing for half an hour. Our luggage was followed by an army of cellos, which unfortunately, not all of them will make it to Bintulu in one piece.

Most of our stomach started growling and therefore we were dismissed to get ourself fed. I went to McDs with the Concert Master and some other violinist and got myself a fish burger and some hush browns. After the meal, we walk into the terminal, and then got onto the plane.

Up in the Air
I followed the seat No. printed on my ticket and came to a window-seat. I look out the window and I can see the back of the jet's wing as well as it's engines. After the initial acceleration that squeezes me into my seat and  the lift off I gradually fall asleep.

I mysteriously woke up minutes before the landing. The plane bounces up and down three times upon touching down and I heard some of the passenger criticizing the pilot's skills.
